What would you consider a "Beefcake" of a man? Someone who is muscled, older, tattoed, smooth, tall, body builder? We all have our own ideas of what we like.
Wikipedia define Beefcake as:
Beefcake is a performance or a form of glamour photography depicting a large and muscular male body.[1] Beefcake is also a publication genre. A role a person plays in a performance may be called beefcake. The term was believed to be first used by Hollywood columnist Sidney Skolsky
It's a term rarely used now, but was used widely in 1950's America to label such Hollywood stars as Rock Hudson and Tab Hunter. In the 1970's it was used to describe the models in Playgirl Magazine and for stars like Burt Reynolds.
So what would modern Beefcake look like today. Here is my personal take on what I would consider today's Beefcake:
